Tricots St. Raphael

Tricots St. Raphael was founded in 1974 by Cecile Platovsky. Searching the world over for just the right people to produce her merino wool sweater, she ended up in Punta del Este, Uruguay, where she found exactly what she was looking for. She was so taken with the country and her surroundings that she named her company after the Hotel San Rafael. She added “Tricots” which means “knitwear” in French.

For more than 30 years Tricots St. Raphael has built a reputation for innovative luxury and sophistication.  Bernette, who purchased the brand in 2012, continues this tradition with a focus on distinctive design, enduring style, and uncompromising quality.  The collection is exclusively designed and manufactured using modern and unique knitting techniques only apparel craftsman can create. Making Tricots products loved worldwide.
